Camping (Or Fiesta Part 2!) Around 80 Abukeños came to the camping last September 7-9 at San Onofre Beach Park, including some of our kababayans from Los Angeles. Some people didn't sleep in the camp, but they joined us at the campground the whole day on Saturday for the activities, fun and stress-releasing time. Was it really a camping or a continuation of Abukeños of San Diego fiesta celebration? Sometimes, we wonder because the camping that the Abukeños know is a feast, instead of something like a jungle survival where resources are scarce. |
